Does Clemson look at ECs? at all?

Clemsons Common Data Set lists ECs as "not considered" but that doesn't seem right if they ask for that information on the application? Does anyone know if they give any weight to it? Or is it a straight formula of SAT,classrank and GPA?

Very Important: Class Rank, Academic GPA, Rigor Of Secondary School Record, Standardized Test Scores

Important: Alumni/ae relation

Considered: Application Essay, Recommendations, Extracurricular Activities, Talent/Ability

I just got my acceptance today and I never submitted my ECs or statement. The ECs would have been the strongest part of my app so I dont think admissions really considers them

my perception from what I heard at a recent presentation is that EC's and letters are primarily for the appeal process if you are intitially rejected
