I’m applying to college this year (senior year in highschool) and I’m currently doing bad in one of my colleges courses (psychology). If I drop the class will they see a W ? Do they look at college courses ? I heard some colleges don’t accept college credits from another state but do they take the grade into consideration?
Yes.
Yes.
Harvard and it’s peers will look at all courses )HS and college) that you have taken in HS. Harvard will not give credit for any college course taken in HS.
So if I do good, it won’t be counted. If I screw up, it’s over for me… dang
It won’t be counted in that you will not receive credit. However, taking a college class and performing well be counted, for admissions purposes, as contributing to the rigor of the schedule.
A W will certainly hurt less than a D or an F.
One W will probably be fine. If there is a reason for it, talk to you guidance counselor about explaining it.
Make sure to have several colleges that you would be happy to attend.
Didn’t really understand your #2 post.
