Does Columbia offer a communications undergraduate degree?

I tried to browse their website but it kept crashing on me for some reason. Does anyone know if the school offer such a concentration?
I'd be very interested in doing a double in economics and communications....with a minor in creative writing hehe.

Thanks in advance :)

Officially, I don't think so. Unofficially, you can major in *Spectator/i, as the saying goes. If by communications you mean journalism, there are plenty of opportunities at Columbia to pursue.

heh, 2 of those things are pretty unemployable.

i kid....sorta.

Tsk, tsk, depends how you use them silly. :)

'Economics + Communication' very demanded in advertising agencies and PR. And their starting salaries, especially from a school like Columbia with the NY opportunities is nothing to sneeze at.

The creative writing minor is mostly for personal growth (got half a novel sitting on this very computer) and I'm thinking that combined with 'economics+communications' it may translate to openings in publishing (which is a field I'm very much interested in) or TV writing (which pays sinfully well).

Undisclosed: overthinking his minor/major since 2003. :p

Nope. Closest you'll get is writing for Spec or B&W then auditing classes at the graduate Journalism school.
