does cornell look at freshmen year grades?

When considering applicants for admission does cornell look at freshmen grades? I got 5 B's freshmen year but i have a high SAT (2300)

Yep. I think all the Ivies besides Stanford do

(Stanford's not an Ivy...)

Cornell considers freshman grades, but a few Bs can be outweighed by a positive trend in GPA over the years and your high SAT score.

Right, mind went wack there. I meant the top-tier schools

i dont get why so many people are worried about freshman grades...i mean...for me i did well at first and then caught senioritis...

Sorry, but your life is over now.

there are definitely cases where cornell admits people with that same trend as you, so i say its worth a shot, especially if you love it. ultimately, admissions is such a crapshoot anyway.
