Sorry, easy question, but can't get it to tell me in SEARCH.

yes. just about all competitive small private colleges will. I also asked when I went to their info session. They superscore and they look at writing, although it is not quite as important as the other two sections. They look at your top 2 SAT subject tests as well.

Thank you very much!

how much emphasis do they put on the writing secton.???

Can anyone answer jaejoon319’s question? I know this this post is pretty old, but I’m curious about the same thing. I took the SAT I a couple months ago, and my Writing Section score was significantly higher than the other two, making my overall score greater than it really is. On CollegeBoard, the average scores for the SAT Writing are blank. Does the admissions office not take them into consideration? Do they not care?

Pretty much. Can’t hurt to have a high writing score though.

In my case, my writing score is significantly lower than my CR and M, how much will it hurt me?

My writing score was 110 points lower than my CR and 150 points lower than my Math and I got in. I applied to CAS for physics so I’m assuming that they didn’t consider it or just looked at my SAT II’s and decided that those made up for it.
