Quick urgent question.

Does Cornell look at the writing section? I heard that they don't count the writing score and just use the critical reading and math scores in the admission process...

Is that true? or is it not?

Also, i have 1410 with CR and math combined.
Is that in the range of accepted Cornell students?

My best composite score all together is 2090.
THanks,

I had heard both theories on whether or not the SAT writting section is counted so I did a little research and I found that Cornell considers the writting section, but not as much as the other sections until more information about it's relevance is known.

<a href="http://www.kaptest.com/Kaplan/Article/College/SAT/Learn-About-the-SAT/CO_sat_surveyresults.html;jsessionid=FCEWCVZ44TXKBLA3AQJXBM3MDUCBE2HC%5B/url%5D">http://www.kaptest.com/Kaplan/Article/College/SAT/Learn-About-the-SAT/CO_sat_surveyresults.html;jsessionid=FCEWCVZ44TXKBLA3AQJXBM3MDUCBE2HC</a></p>

I think this survey could be outdated since the scores could have been better analyzed since this time and may therefore be considered closer in importance to the other sections. (This is pure speculation here.)

And the middle 50% SAT scores for Cornell are: 1290-1480, so your SAT's are in the range of accepted students.
