Does Dartmouth look at the writing section of SAT?

on my naviance website, it doesnt show the avg sat score for writing so i am thinking dartmouth doesnt?

i jsut realized all the colleges on naviance dont have writing score

they 100 percent for sure look at it.

don't know if they give it equal weight compared to m + cr though

on naviance every single college has the chart on the 1600 scale and the 2400 scale

They do look at it. It is one of the many things they take into consideration. After meeting so many of the students that they choose to accept, it is now much clearer to me that they place a lot of importance on personality.

They certainly look at it when it comes to placing you in the freshman writing program. If your CR score is below 770, anyway.

i just heard that dartmouth doesnt look at it for admissions

We were told they consider it an SATII.

I am almost positive Dartmouth looks at Writing scores for admissions.

man now if dartmouth really puts less weight to the writing score my SAT score goes down cause it is my best section.... oh well

^ same here

If it means anything, Writing was my worst score by 50 points of any SAT I section or SAT II test and I still got in.

but i bet you had 700s in every section of the SAT. only my math and writing are in the 700s for me....

Yeah, I have 800s in Math and Writing but a 660 in CR :(

^ oh yeah? how about me? i got 720 writing and math and 640 in CR.

the writting section is in the SAT ithink and it has an essay
