Does Duke care about Legacies if they apply RD?

Hello, I know that elite private colleges like Duke and the Ivies value (boost) legacy applicants when they apply ED, but does this help if you are applying regular?

In my case, (stats wise) I am in the lowest 25th percentile for SAT scores with a 1450 (800 math, 650 reading) subject tests of 750 math 1, 670 World History and 660 US History, but have great ECs that are meaningful and not just filler. Will this help me or not matter? Thanks

2 years ago I was told by an AO at an info session at Duke that they only look at Legacy if you apply ED.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking by just wanted to confirm. binding is honestly just too much of commitment for me
