Hello,
I know Emory meets 100% of demonstrated need, but I also know that meeting need means that they may give loans. With that being said, do many emory students owe a significant amount in loans? I know that financial aid packages are so unpredictable, but I am just trying to get an idea...my family in particular is very low income..Feel free to simply speak for yourself or others you know because I am aware that one cannot make an account for others.

This page should answer your questions: [Emory Advantage](<a href=“Emory Advantage | Emory University | Atlanta GA”>Emory Advantage | Emory University | Atlanta GA).

For what it’s worth, the only loans I’ve taken are to attend summer school and that wasn’t that much.

To my experience, no. I am similarly in a very low income category, and they covered nearly the entire cost of attendance with no loans–just grants, scholarships, and work study.

Thanks to both of you for your answers.
