Does emory have an engineering major?

I have turned into a neurotic person since my ed rejection from tufts, and am frantically looking for more schools to apply to, since I have a feeling that im going to be rejected everywhere I want to go. Regardless, I was wondering if emory had an engineering major, other then the dual degree program with ga tech?

no there is no school of engineering.

there is a 5 yr program with GA Tech tho if your interested in engineering...you do the first 2 yrs at emory and then you take classes at both-its pretty sweet

Wow, you are scrambling. Emory does have a Computer Science major, if that is what you are interested in. But I would caution you, Emory is also selective and your demonstrated interest is imperative for admission, meaning visiting Emory, attending local Admissions presentations, writing an essay on how you fit at Emory, etc.

If you want engineering, consider Georgia Tech, which is also in Atlanta, has lower tuition and is known to be a rigorous education.

A school comparable to Tufts in engineering is URochester. But since it's not in Boston, it is quite a bit easier to be admitted. Purdue has a good program and admission is not overly selective. In Boston, you could look at BU and Northeastern.

Check out RPI

GT "is known to be a rigorous education." As is Everest is a pretty big hill.

I know Bucknell has a school of engineering my friends is in it and really likes it
