Do you think "in god we trust" really belongs on US tender?YES or No and why.

I don't believe in God, but I cold care less what is written on a little coin. It doesn't offend me.

Sure. Most Americans believe in God, in one way or another. Also, it serves as a reminder to citizens and soon-to-be-citizens that America was founded on Judeo-Christian morals and values. You may not agree with these morals and values, but they are a significant part of America's cultural heritage.

true dat ^

Although neither my family nor I are religious, I don't mind having 'In God We Trust' on our currency.

I agree with Fides.

I find the whole 'In God We Trust' on money to be more representative of America's heritage involving religion rather than a blatant slap-in-the-face to those non-religious.

I think it should stay because it's a representation of the principles that this country was founded upon.

It's kind of like the gay marriage issue. It dosen't affect me so why should I change it?

Yes because it's more of a tradition than a religion.

I see it as a way to honor the people who's contributed to build our country than a form of religious comformity.

i don't care, i use a credit card :]

Yeah I don't carry cash. My cash-carrying days ended when I got a debit card lol and since I now have a credit card, I haven't seen cash for a while lol

But it doesn't really matter....what concerns me is the fundementalist christians in the White House.
