Does Gatech prefer incoming transfer students with more credits?

<p>It seems that most schools prefer transfer students who are in their first or second year,junior students are not competitive for admission.And they set maximum number of hours to credit.</p>

<p>However,Gatech says:
"There is no maximum number of hours that a student may transfer, however all degree-seeking students must complete at least 36 semester hours at Georgia Tech."
And Gatech requires incoming transfer applicants to have completed some required courses prior to their application.</p>

<p>I'm curious to know what kind of students do Gatech prefer.</p>

<p>they have to complete required classes that gatech will accept as transfer credit, which means a department will look your course guide to see if classes are okay to transfer. they are pretty open on what kind of student they accept any who requirements though I will find out shortly. hope that helps. pm me if you are interested in gatech.</p>
