Does getting accepted to the Windows on Williams program mean anything?

I was accepted to the program and my application has actually improved since then (my senior year grades are better than my junior year grades with more AP classes, my sat score improved by 170, and my essay for williams was way better than my WOW application essay). I was accepted and attended the WOW program but I'm not sure how much weight that actually has in admissions. Does anyone know? I guess not receiving an early write has worried me a little bit...

It helps a lot. I attended WOW this year also, and got an early write today. First of all, its important to remember that very few people get early writes, so you definitely still have a shot. At WOW, the admissions officers said they accept around 70% of WOW attendees, and participating in the program shows that you’re interested in Williams. Keep your hopes up!

Additionally, the improvement in your application is great news. Think of it this way: why would Williams pay for you to visit if you weren’t a viable candidate? Improving your stats will only make you a better candidate than you already were. Best of luck!
