Just curios to see how others felt. I see many people posting with outstanding ECs (Model UN, Awesome scientific experimenting clubs, etc.) and I notice that they all go to large high schools with 900+ students in their class. Now I go to a high school of about 600 with only 160 in my graduating class. On all my chance threads, people comment that I have weak ECs, which always shocked me because I'm in nearly every club that my school offers. So, do you think that going to a smaller school (where ECs are limited) negatively impact your chances at top schools? Why or why not?

You are judged on how well you took advantage of the opportunities (academic and otherwise) at YOUR school. I know students coming from very small charter schools (less than 50 in graduating class) who are getting in at top schools if they have the grades and test scores for them. College admissions officers are good at evaluating kids from a huge variety of school types including home-schooled. Publics (rural, urban), voke schools, charter schools, private, religious etc…
You need to focus on doing the best you can and don’t compare yourself to people who post their info on CC, they don’t reflect the majority of students…
