Does gramatrix really work?

Post your comments about gramatrix here.......

There are like a bunch of threads on this topic. You should probably search for it.

Grammatix has a great deal of hype and the marketing/promotion is a turn off.
The actual e-book has very few questions and is weak on Math prep.

Grammatix has more hype than any product I've ever seen. The marketing done through this forum is despicable as well.

hmm i dunno, i find it to be really useful actually.. its good, but even more than the book, mike barrett is awesome. He's like your own personal tutor, all for free, and you can ask him as many questions as you need and he's very efficient and kind about helping you... I ask him soo many things, ive learned a lot.. This service is what i find to be truly invaluable.. but its your choice.. and you will defintely get a refund if you dont like it.. but in my opinion you should try it..

Don't misunderstand. Grammatix is great, but understand it is still hyped. Mike Barrett has even admitted this in posts he's made in this forum (he said every businessman has to sell the sizzle, not the steak).

HONESTLY SPEAKING: Grammatix has had the best English Section Prep I've ever seen. It is right down to the point and gets strait to the patterns you need to identify on the SAT. As for the other sections, his advice is interesting, but not as good as his English Section advice. This is in my humble opinion of course.

unless someone people are very bitter about having spent $50 to get the useful english section preparation, i think they should just share the tips and strategies grammatix has to offer in that section. I mean.. this thread always discusses strategies, tips, tricks, shortcuts, preparation techniques, etc.. which are probably mentinoed in other prep books. So why keep grammatix so secretive? I'm beginning to think people praise it because they have spent so much on the book and just want others to do so as well, I mean if it was really that great the strategies would be discussed.

theres no reason to be bitter though.. he'll give you a complete refund.. so i dunno why jsk would say that but ok, w/e.. but ya, i agree, there is a lot of hype, but its seems pretty good.. ehh.. wutever..

The publisher does provide some of his thoughts and defends his srategy in previous threads. Check out his website for general strategies. I am not bitter because of $$$; I was disappointed in the overall content, inpartcular the Math section. Others found the verbal and writing to be helpful ehich were areas that I did not need much prepping.

so the grammar section is really good ?
