I have a brother going to a boarding school(get gets all A+'s and is a very good student) and I am wondering if that will better my chances of getting in.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Really I would think it gives the student a very slight advantage. The school would know if the candidate were prepared. It would also know the giving/support pattern of the family.

I can imagine it does help. It is kind of like being a legacy.

YES!!! IT HELPS ALOT EXPES IF HES A GOOD STUDENT and urs seems to be IT HELPS
HAVING A CONECTION/ FAMILY MEMBER AT A BOARDING SCHOOL HELPS

Absolutely, even if you’re the extreme opposite of your brother grade wise and burned down your last school, the Admission dept. will at least take a second or third look at your application.
