Does Instate count for anything?

Does being a New Jersey resident have any weight on the admissions process...?

Nope. Princeton is a private school and doesn’t take state residency into account (unless you live in an underrepresented state which NJ is not).

^ yeah, state residency doesn’t matter to private schools. they just look for the best students world-wide.

Thanks thats what I thought.

idk I’ve heard nj residents have a slight advantage?

A lot of Princeton students come from NJ simply because a lot of Princeton students apply from NJ.

fair enough, thanks!

It should count against you. ;)
