I mean what if college wants you and not your bro or sis..or the other way around. will they reject you because they dont want to deny your sister or brother?

Well, its funny because you don't get those often. Parents don't usually end up with a child born the same year and are able to send their kids to school at the same time; unless one got skipped or left back.

To answer your question. I think it would be pretty stupid for a college to reject a student because of the feelings of the siblings. I'm sure if they feel strongly about theyw ould accept the relatives rather than reject. But most college don't really look at such subjective things. They care about the whole person.

Um...Twins?

Rice has specific question on their application, "do you have a sibling applying to Rice this year?" "if so, are you twins"

I don't know what they do w/ that info, but I'm trying to convince my brother to apply just in case, lol.

Two fraternal twins at my highschool are going to Harvard.

We had two sets of twins graduate from my high school this year. I don't know much about the first set (one is going to UConn and the other got into Cornell ED) but the second set were pretty similar, one had slightly higher grades and took slightly more challenging courses (ie BC instead of AB calculus) and they applied to almost all the same schools and got the same exact results as each other. They are both going to Cornell.
