Does it look bad to withdraw from a CC class when you are attending a four year?

I go to a UC and am taking a summer class at a community college. I’m considering withdrawing but it will show up as a W. I have taken a CC summer class before but at a different community college so the W would not show up on that transcript. Is it possible to hide the W and if not, will it look bad?

You can’t hide the W. Whenever you need to provide all of your transcripts, you will have to send that one too.

However, one W in the midst of all your otherwise excellent grades is no big deal. Just be prepared to answer as to why you withdrew if anyone ever asks. For example: When I registered for the class, I didn’t realize how much it would conflict with my summer job.
