<p>I'm currently a junior and my current major is management information systems (MIS). I was thinking of switching my major to management so I can graduate two semesters earlier. I'm determined to go for an MBA degree after I'm done with my bachelor's, so my question does it really matter what was my BA Degree in terms of jobs perspective after I get my MBA?</p>

<p>Doesn’t matter generally. There are a small number of schools that have preferences for or against technical backgrounds, but generally there is no meaningful difference between a business major and an MIS major. Perhaps if you did poorly on the GMAT Q but were an MIS major with good upper division grades, that could be an advantage to offset a hypothetical low GMAT Q. Other than narrow situations like this, no real difference.</p>
