My teachers and counselor already sent letters of recommendation to a school to which I was going to apply. However, I don't know if I still want to apply there. Even though my letters are there, will the school just toss them if they don't get an application in January or would I have to email them to let them know?

They'll probably toss them, but it's kind to email them anyway.

What would they do if you didn't notify them? Send agents from the Office of Headhunting after you?
