My college counselor sent a letter of recommendation to a college on my behalf, but I no longer plan on applying to the school (deadline is in a few days and I can’t complete the application in time). Is there something I should do or should I just ignore it and hope the college throws away my letter when they don’t get my application? I feel really bad and don’t know how to handle the situation.
It won’t make a difference. They’ll just throw it out.
Ignore it. Your application will not be complete and they’ll toss it.
