<p>It can matter for post-graduate professional schools (e.g. medical, law) that calculate GPA on all college grades (even back to college courses taken while in high school). PhD programs will probably notice, though they put more emphasis on undergraduate research, faculty recommendations, and upper division courses and grades taken at the four year school.</p>
<p>Yeah, for any grad school, and also in determining financial aid and scholarships including Cal Grants in your first year as a transfer student.</p>
