I just saw that my son was sent a fee waiver letter last fall, end of Oct. It was due to his National Merit Semifinalist. But he had named NEU as one of the “two colleges” for NM the previous spring, so that may be why.

yeah, that’s true. I heard that some colleges give out free waivers to National Merit finalists. But I was hoping that they give them out for other reasons too. Did your son end up attending NEU? :)

Yes, son is a Husky now He starts classes next week.

Nice! Good luck to your son! Hope he enjoys it there. :-)

I think I might just send an email to them regarding fee waivers…

Classes actually start this week, just a heads up.

Yes, technically I should have said “this week” (Wed). But it was Sunday, and in my working-world mind weeks don’t start until Monday.

haha I think I’ve asked a hundred people if we start class on Tuesday (today) or Wednesday. You’d think by now I’d remember but clearly not.

I’m in the process of applying to Northeastern right now and I see that they have the option for application fee waiver requests. These requests must be mailed to Northeastern. I’m wondering if there is a form I use to submit a request or just submit information about myself. Does anyone know what to do?
