<p>You know how some schools will accept you for summer term if you aren't the best student, but they still like you. Does NU have that?</p>
<p>No but they have something similar- the N.U.in Program. It is a program where you go abroad for the fall semester of your freshman year and enter as a student on the Northeastern campus in the spring semester of your freshman year.</p>
<p>It’s a big (and sensitive) issue to mention though that NUin is not optional – if you want to go here but you got NUin, then you HAVE to do study abroad in the fall and HAVE to start on campus in the spring. This becomes a major problem for people that don’t have a lot of cash, because aid won’t kick in until the spring semester.</p>
