My sons (as I stated before) are looking at Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, University of Maryland-CP, North Carolina State, University of Miami, University of Florida, University of Delaware, Rutgers, University of Texas A&M, UCSD and a few other smaller privates.

I am trying to see which colleges track level of interest as part of the admission process.

You should google “Common Data Set” for each of the above colleges. Look at the pdf of the most recent year -2013. It provides a lot of information about the college’s admissions process. If you scroll down you will find a chart that lists each criteria (gpa, class rank, rigor of curriculum, SAT/ACT score, essay, letter of recommendations, level of applicant’s interest etc… and for each criteria it lists the following options: Very Important, Important, Considered, Not Considered. For Ohio State under “Level of Interest” it indicates “not considered.”
