I got a full ride there and they do have several biology and chemistry courses that fulfill pre-med requirements. Do they do a good job? Does anyone know what percent of their applicants go on to med school?

Super Bump. I really need some help here because I have a lucrative scholarship and want to know if I should accept or try to get the $10,000-15,000 that I need to cover tuition at my other schools

I doubt anyone here is super familiar with that school’s particular program. If I were to guess, I’d guess that the pre-med classes are likely fine. Does the school have a pre-med advisor? If so, send him an email. Also look on the school’s website to see if they have an advising website.

This sounds like a good deal for you. Hunting around for $40k-60k to pay for the balance at other schools is not likely going to happen.

I just went to their website. I can’t get a link to open, but it does look like they have some kind of pre-professional programs for med, law, etc.

Thanks for the advice mom2collegekids. From what I understand, it really isn’t as important as to where you go to Pre-Med so much as that you did go to Pre-Med and did well.

You don’t need to do “pre med”. You only need to complete the courses required by medical schools for admission. You can major in any academic subject you want.

But the second part of your statement is correct–you need to well both in your pre-reqs classes and in all your other classes…
