Does one "B" matter?

I would like to apologize ahead of time, as I know one B is absolutely nothing to complain about. I am not trying to be either arrogant or overly-obsessive, this is primarily out of curiosity. I had a B in pre-algebra, which I took in 6th grade, but it is on my high school transcript. Do top colleges care what year it was in? Will the B stand out to them when many top applicants have a perfect transcript?

Why would pre-Algebra be on your HS transcript? I’m sure colleges will ignore it, but I would try to have it removed.

@skieurope I can try. Another student at my school in the same situation had her request turned down. It is on HS transcript because pre-algebra is technically a HS-level course

Nothing before 9th grade is even considered — despite your cluttered transcript. Please put this out of your mind.

And OH MY GOD do not approach anyone, ANYONE about having it removed. Don’t be that kid. You wanna avoid having the grade “obsessed” label? Here’s your opportunity.
