I got a 29 on the ACT the first time and a 31 on my second try. If Superscored I get a 32 ACT which should make me eligble for scholarships. Does Pitt Superscore the ACT?

Very few colleges superscore ACT and I do not believe U of Pitt does that either. I could be wrong. Just my opinion…

when I was at info sci/pharmacy major day during the summer they said that if you submitted both SAT and ACT scores they would convert ACT to SAT and combine those to get your best possible score(say you have an 800 SAT Math and 650 CR but you got a 36 on ACT English, they’d convert it so that you’d have a 1600 SAT), so I would assume they superscore the ACT. I don’t know if they have the most liberal test score policy in the country or they made a mistake when talking about it, but that just stood out when I heard it…I’ve never heard of a school doing that.

They definitely made a mistake when they said that

Yeah that definitely sounds like a mistake, it doesn’t even sound like superscoring. I’m not familiar with the ACT but someone who gets a 36 on the English section of the ACT but bombs the other sections shouldn’t get the equivalent of a 1600 SAT (out of 1600).

I have visited several times and attended a pharmacy info session, and I also distinctly heard them say that they WILL convert your ACT score to SAT as well as put all of your best scores together. I’m not sure exactly how they do this though - while the example given by LessThanSamii sounds unrealistic, I am pretty sure that they should raise the score of steelersngators in some way.
