Does pre-AP count as AP

I didn't say it was wrong, I just said u used it the loser way joke

All Honors and Gifted courses prepare you for AP Couses so they are the same as Pre-AP. Starting AP in your junior year is a little late isn't it? Well it's only late if you want to go to Harvard.

Um, no it's not a little late. Thank you. My school and most schools dont offer AP until junior year. Some do sophomore year. (p.s. several people from my school have gone to harvard, as well as mit, georgetown, princeton, duke, etc.)

You should have started sophmore by talking to your guidance counselor. Don't worry it's not that bad. You had all honors classes right?

No im going to be a sophomore. i meant some schools starty sophomore year. My school doesnt offer APs to sophs..and i will be taking all honors and its still very rigorous and im not worried because my school is very good and the students go to excellent colleges.

Oh...you can still talk to your guidance counselor. Most High schools will allow you to take AP US History and AP Biology Sophomore. I'm going to be a freshman but I'm trying to learn more about getting into a well-ranked college. I have made a preliminary list of my future 10th and 11th grade classes. You should do that, it helps you plan ahead your future.

Umm no, my school will not allow it. Its a Catholic/private school also. and trust me, its not necessary. My school has a very good reputation with colleges. No one has ever taken APs here in soph year. But they have gone to ivy league/top colleges. My schedule will be rigorous/time consuming enough..im not making it harder. its already the hardest schedule possible.

No parental overrides? If you do well, you might have been able to take AP classes with Consultation.

PS: Do you have AIM? I find it interesting to talk to you.

No...its a private school. and trust me when i say my schedule will be hard enough as is, our honors classes are hard sometimes equal to AP level at other schools. And what im saying is..people have taken this schedule and gotten into amazing colleges every year. If your school offers APs to sophomores, by all means take them, but colleges dont expect you to take an AP class if its not offered to your grade level (and if no one else takes it either)

Sure ill pm you my screen name.

My school is the same. They only offer AP Lang sophomore year, and then less than a dozen for the rest of the time you are there. All schools are structured differently...

Pre-AP ≈ Honors
Pre-AP are preparatory courses for APs and as such:
Pre-AP ≠AP

Why are there three pages worth of this?

It was a stupid question and everyone's answers are all the same...

huh.
