Does Questbridge Finalist help?

So I was just wondering that if I was a Questbridge Finalist and applied through Questbridge to USC but not matched, will the fact that I was a finalist help boosts my application a lot? Or does it not really effect it at all? I've just been Waitlisted for UCLA, so I'm REALLY begging for USC's kindness :(

Thank you so much!! I know admissions come out in just a couple of days, but being Waitlisted to UCLA has really freaked me out about my chances at USC :(

Bump! Please help!

I am in the same position as you!! I was a Questbridge Finalist, but didn’t get matched. I was also waitlisted for UCLA as well. I really do hope that being a Questbridge Finalist will help us since the Admissions Office had the chance to look over our application more than once for sure…

same here, but I’m really doubting myself since I still have financial documents required even though I sent them. (probably didn’t bother notifying me since I wasn’t accepted :l

I honestly hopes it does, because USC has been my dream school for ages TT___TT If anyone gets an answer please please tell me!! :(

I applied to QuestBridge and was not selected as a finalist. However, I was admitted to USC in late January. It all depends on your overall application - and your essay. But the philosophy I’ve come up is that the kid makes the school and not just the other way around.

Good luck to all of you!
