Does retaking the SAT help you?

The last time I took the SAT was two years ago, however I noticed that my score (1900) is a little low for the schools I'm applying to transfer to so I'm planning on taking it again (this would be the 3rd time) in November and trying really hard to get a score of 2000+

Will this help my chances? Would the schools frown upon it or would they like that I'm trying to improve my application and make myself a stronger case for admission? Btw the schools I'm applying to are Duke, Northwestern, Wake Forest, Boston College, Vanderbilt, USC and Brown (my unrealistically high reach).

As long as the school accepts a SAT taken in college, then yes, a higher score will help you; as will an improvement in any of your application factors.
