Does Ross look at both the regular Michigan essays and Ross supplement?

Just wondering does Preferred-admission Ross also see your normal application in addition to the Ross supplements?

Because my “Why Michigan” essay was heavily tailored to fit Ross and that’s where I specified that I demonstrate interest (visiting the school+Ross offices). There’s no way I can explain that I showed a lot of interest in UMich/Ross in the Ross supplement itself…

They look at both

Can anyone back up wallstreetangel’s answer? Thanks!

@TacticalPotato Don’t have any hard evidence from admission committee, but multiple friends in dual degree Ross have told me similarly

This is Ross’s advice on your regular Umichigan Essay. It is quite obvious that they will read it.

Answer the U-M supplement essay prompt (below) with a focus on your specific interest in the Ross School of Business.
“Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual-degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?” (550 words maximum).

Hi, current Ross student here. Yes, as far as I’ve always been told they look at all your essays. ^^
