Does school for econ matter and does BS vs BA vs BBA matter for grad school?

I have bounced around majors and landed in economics. It is what I enjoy most at the college level. I am looking to get muy PhD eventually. I am currently at Valdosta State, and they only offer a BBA. I got accepted to Georgia Southern which has a BA, but I’m also looking into Armstrong and Georgia State College and University.

The name of the degree isn’t important. Different colleges just use different names. What is important is the classes you take. You can go online at all of the schools you are considering and look at the courses required and offered for an economics major.

For graduate school in econ, taking the appropriate series of math classes is more important than the distinction between BBA, BA, etc.
