Does School offices remain open during Feb Break

<p>Not sure if anyone can help on this. Does the school admin offices stay open during Feb break?</p>

<p>My DS is having winter break from 18 to 22nd. and he missed applying for his official school transcript. We wanted to apply for UC Davis Cosmos and the last day to post mark the transcript is Feb 22nd. His class restarts only on Feb 25th by which the post marked date will be over. Any idea if the school offices stay open on the week of break while students stay home. This is a public school in Cupertino,CA. What is the usual norm?</p>

<p>THe first place to start would be the school calendar. It will tell you if the school is closed or if there are staff development/administration days when there are no students in the building.</p>

<p>Your calendar states that it is mid year recess</p>

<p>This means that there are no staff/administration working in your local school this week (however, your school district/superintendent offices are probably open).</p>

<p>In most places if students are off for mid winter break, all other staff are off also (however, we have a short February break because of the days of schools lost due to SS Sandy).</p>
