Does Stanford keep track of visits at all?

I missed my tour, which I'd reserved a long time ago, and was unable to contact the admissions office. Would this mistake affect my chances of admission?

(The admissions website mentions that the office doesn't keep track of "contact" by prospective students, I'm not sure if that applies to my situation.)

you’re a prospective student, so i think it applies entirely to your situation.

Not to worry. I know for a fact that they don’t check or care one way or another if you visit or not. They don’t keep track of any of that kind of stuff at all. good luck in admissions!

thanks so much for the replies. that’s good to hear :)

and what i originally meant to say is that i didn’t know whether “contact” includes (cancelled) visits or if it just means contacting your admissions representative or something.

No, they, like most top colleges, don’t care about how many times you visit. They care little about “demonstrated interest” in the form of you visiting the school or attend information sessions. Those they don’t care about because there are people that are financially restricted and can’t make a trip out there.
