Hi, so I wanted to major in Computer Science B.S by transferring to a UC, preferably UCLA. However, I wasn’t sure if the Honors Program at Irvine Valley College helps students doing STEMM Majors. And if it does, does it help significantly or just slightly increases your chances of getting accepted to a UC? Is it more for students in Liberal Arts? Thank you!
I don’t know about your college specifically, but I know at most CC (at least in California) honors programs increase your chances of transferring to top tier schools. It shows the colleges you’re an outstanding student and I would recommend joining the honors program.
