I will be going to my local CC (Irvine Valley College) and then hopefully transferring to University of California, Irvine. My major of choice is Bio Sci so I’m guessing it may take 2-3 years at CC alone which proposes the question of whether the Honors program is necessary at all? I would like to go to med school, would it make sense to go through all that work if they don’t prioritize students who have taken it?
If UCI is your target school, then the Honors program can be a benefit.
