<p>I know that applicants are supposed to list their activities in order of importance, but does the same rule apply for honors?</p>
<p>Logically, I would do the same for honors. I would want the one that stands out the most to be the first thing the admissions officers see</p>
<p>There are only 5 spots, so you do need to sort them out and put the more important ones on top. It is even more critical for the EC. As the adcom browsing down the list, they may lose interest and skip the remaining if they found anything not worth their attention. They assume the top ones are more important as it is mentioned in the guideline.</p>
