@afroninja26 its not a secret, i’ve mentioned it on previous threads too.

I do actually care about the order of my classes XD. I prefer the classes that need more studying to be at the end of the day, so I can study for them during lunch and other classes ;

I prefer having easier classes in the morning, tougher classes later on so I have time during the day to do homework I put off doing hehehehehe. I am actually really upset with my schedule simply because I will have only one free period, and that’s only during my second semester. I knew that was going to happen, but the annoying thing is that that free period will be during second period, and I have a voice class first period. My voice is in no shape to sing first thing in the morning, and if my first and second period classes switched, I would’ve been able to come in late everyday for the last half of my senior year :(

My school has a rotating block schedule, so the time in which each class meets changes every day. So, in terms of what time a certain class meets, the order is irrelevant, since all of my classes will take place in the morning, afternoon, and during lunch.

The only case where the order does matter is during midterms and finals, when we take 2 per day. I’d rather not have two difficult midterms on the same day, so I’d prefer it if my hard classes were spread throughout my schedule, rather than bunched up together.

I like having all my hard classes on one day and my easy ones the other day. I have A/B scheduling as well. So I get my homework assigned on an A day (the hard day), then I can decide how long the work will take me. If it’s more than four hours, I typically do some of it the night it’s assigned along with the very little, 2 hours max, homework that is due for my B day. If it’s less than four hours, then I relax that day, usually take a nap. My schedule has been like this for the past three years. I typically have 4 hard classes one day and then the next day I have a free period, two classes that are decently easy in that they don’t assign homework that often, and then one class that has a regular amount of homework, but it’s not that hard (like math). Next year probably won’t turn out in my favor, though.

Oh forgot to mention that I love math in the morning. I’m kind of a morning person? Well, it’s really hard for me to wake up, but once I’m awake, I’m awake. And math is a subject that just cliques in my head in the morning, but in the afternoon I have way too much going on in my head that I make stupid mistakes and can’t think of simple things. I hate English in the morning, I prefer it in the afternoon for the very reason I hate having math in the afternoon. I like history at the end or in the middle, but I don’t think I could stand it in the morning, especially because everyone cheats in that class and I don’t want people coming to me for test questions. I prefer science in the middle of the day, but I hate having it during my lunch period.

And electives at the end of the day are the best. They’re the easiest to skip need be and it just makes the day easier to get through if you can say, oh I have math next, but after that it’s just x elective and then I’m done. I don’t even count it as a class lol, it’s like the day ends over an hour early.

I like my hardest class, English, not to be last.

I need a fun class 6th period (last period for the most part; next year I’ll have a seventh period, but it’s basically a sport that’s given class status) and a fun class 3rd or 4th period; that way I have something to look forward to. I prefer having math 5th or 6th period, since I usually do math homework during lunch or read (which is before 3rd period). I also prefer having English near the end or middle of the day, but that hasn’t worked out for me in the past three years xD

I need to have my harder classes in the middle of the day, sandwiched by easier classes.

I would’ve liked to have AP Human Geography in the afternoon last year. I had the teacher’s first period of the day but by the later classes everyone already knew what was going to be on the tests.

Oh god, that happened to me in English. We got a gazillion pop quizzes, but all the later classes knew about them and therefore got better grades.

Harder classes later in the day so I have more time to review for quizzes tests etc. Gym last because I do sports so I will already be changed and in the locker room right before practice. But I have gym first this year
I had math first for three years in a row and half of my class was always asleep I-)

Ouch. I’ve had English 1st period for the past two years, and I had it second period in 7th grade. I’ve always had math either 4th or 5th period, although the rest of my classes have fluctuated.

I always end up having science first thing in the morning and I hate it so much. I’m half asleep and it’s my hardest subject as well, so it isn’t a very good combination. Fingers crossed that I have that and math during the last half of the day this year. English in the very middle of the day (like before or after lunch) I really like too. And Orchestra in the morning too, the music gets me awake and it stimulates my mind and stuff.

only PE but I don’t have to do that anymore so no
