<p>When I find out what campus I'll be dorming at I plan on mailing stuff to myself a couple days before I leave so that it gets their around the same time I do. I was just wondering does the post office/mail room at the school hold larger packages that won't fit into a students respective mail box? I was wondering because I plan on mailing my desktop PC.</p>
<p>I can't say for packages that big.. but they leave you a note in your mailbox which says "you have a package" and then you go to the mail center and they'll retrieve it for you (once again, my packages were like a shirt which I ordered online or something).</p>
<p>Hawaii? Nice. Can I ask why you chose Rutgers? I'm always really curious when someone comes to Rutgers from far away.</p>
<p>I guess its not that big, I do have a flat screen LCD monitor. Anyways I chose Rutgers because colleges in Hawaii don't really have strong programs in what I'm interested in. Its a diverse school thats on the rise both academically and athletically (I'm a big sports fan, and Rutgers sports has been doing well of late). I also like the fact that it is so close to places like NY and Philly without the hassle of actually having to live in the city. Lastly it gives me that classic college experience that I wouldn't get if I stayed in Hawaii (because I'd probably live at home, because the dorms suck at the schools in Hawaii, and the people and places wouldn't be anything new).</p>
