Does the top 10% rule have any affect on transfer applicants?

i go to a C.C. and my GPA will be around 3.6 by the end of this semester. I applied to McCombs but I know that's really hard and my second choice is liberal arts so what are my chances because if I don't get in liberal arts, I will be SOOOOO p.issed.

u'll get into liberal arts, not so sure about mccombs tho

They save a certain amount of spots for transfers. There arnt many for McCombs, but liberal arts there is a plentiful amount. I wouldnt count on McCombs unless you have an amazing app. Liberal arts is almost a guarantee if you wrote some good essays.

I would have to agree with a no to McCombs. Most transfers (the few there are) have GPAs in the 3.7-4.0 range. And even then they don't all get in.
