Does Umich have summer school to catch up on credits? Or just to get credits out of the way?

Yes…it has a spring term and a summer term, which are both about 2 months long. Since the semesters are shorter, classes are accelerated, so you wouldn’t want to take a full load. A lot of students stay in Ann Arbor for spring term (May and June). It’s a great time to be there…the weather is really nice and the city is less crowded, but there are enough people around that it’s a fun, easy-going atmosphere. If you’re in a dorm and don’t have a place to live in the spring/summer, there are a lot of students w/ 12 month leases who will be trying to sublet their apartments/houses so you can get a reduced rent as well.

Yeah, i was only there a few days for orientation, but it really is heavenly on campus that time of year. I definitely want to, but I’m not sure if FinAid will cover it. The thing is there obviously aren’t as many classes offered, but there’s still quite a few.
