I am an admitted student, and my father is a visiting scientist, so I hope to take some classes before I enroll.
I'm going to Ann Arbor during late February and I'm curious if I will be there if classes start...

Spring term generally starts in early May (between May 1 and May 5) and ends 7-8 weeks later, in late June (between June 20 and 25).

Summer term generally begins in late June (between June 25 and 30) and ends 7-8 weeks later, in mid August (between August 15 and 20).

Michigan has two primary terms, Fall (September-December), and Winter (January-April). May through July is split into two half-terms, Spring and Summer. What most schools call the "Spring" semester, we call "Winter", probably because it more accurately reflects the weather. Campus will be running at full steam in late February.

thanks people :)
can't wait to be in Michigan
