Does this count as an extracurricular?

I play an online stock game in my free time, would it be reasonable to put that as an extracurricular under "career oriented" or is it not worth mentioning? Thanks.

Personally I don’t think so. If you helped develop a stock game or participated in FBLA, I may say it is more relevant to include, but just the stock game itself is more of a leisurely hobby. If so inclined, you could mention it in an essay where it is a relevant but not really as an EC.

I figured as much, thanks for the response.

Since it is career oriented, why wouldn’t you just put it as an EC? It wouldn’t hurt to demonstrate a keen interest in the field of study and it’s something you enjoy doing. As long as it is meaningful and you dedicate lots of time to it, I don’t see why you wouldn’t put it.
