Does this mean I won't get an academic scholarship?

"After a careful review of your application, we would like to offer you admission to Florida State University for the Summer Term. By accepting our summer offer, you will be able to enroll in the fall as a continuing student."

I'm happy I got accepted, but my athletic scholarship won't cover all my university costs. What exactly does this mean?

29 ACT

Oh and I’m also OOS

It seems unlikely that you will be offered a scholarship. Sorry.

It means that you’ve been accepted for the Summer C 2015 Term. If you don’t see anything about a scholarship on your status check, you probably did not receive one. :frowning: I don’t think that FSU is very generous in merit-based scholarships, but you could always apply for need-based by filling out the FAFSA later.

Congrats on your acceptance!

You’re already getting an athletic scholarship? Is it to compete in one of the university’s major sports?

Being enrolled in summer instead of fall doesn’t normally have much bearing on whether you get an academic scholarship or not. It’s possible you were accepted for summer because of the sport your scholarship is for (since you didn’t mention which one).

Unfortunately though, I would venture a guess that you won’t be getting an academic scholarship.

Most colleges seem to have a separate tab or letter about scholarships. I don’t see anything indicating you would not get any kind of scholarship.

Yes I’m running track @pasbal
