I applied early decision to Princeton and haven't heard back yet. However, (I'm a fencer) and I got a Christmas card from the fencing team saying we look forward to seeing you in the fall. Does this mean I'm in or would assuming that be just wishful thinking? I know that a friend of mine who is a junior also got a card, but I don't know if her's said "we look forward to seeing you." It would be strange if it did, but I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this. Thanks!

MONDAY is the answer. Good luck to you.

It could. It's wierd that you recieved that card. I'm thinking that maybe you were accepted and the card just happened to get there before the acceptance letter. I don't know really but it is strange.

I would think so. Congrats!

It might seem that way... but I would definitely wait for the real acceptance letter before you start celebrating.

Yeah I'm trying not to assume, but I was wondering if someone else had had a similar experience.

that doesnt mean u were accepted....that is just a greeting in case u do decide to attend if u are accepted.

I'd assume you're in.

Yep...it's a good bet.

Yeah, I think your are in.

Similar package from a school, with a "see you next fall" note that arrived a week before the acceptance, but it was not a top rated school.

I just spoke with my friend who's a junior and got a card as well. Apparently her's said see you next fall, even though she hasn't applied to any schools yet. So I'm not going to put any stock in it and I'll just have to wait until monday. Oh well.

yes, you are an official Princetonian now.

Congratulations. It must be good feeling!

yup. it's official. I'm in!

Congrats! Great Christmas present. :)

congrats! .
