Does this mean I'm in?

University of Washington is my first choice, and when I checked the online status of my application today it changed... It now says

Thank you for applying for admission to the University of Washington Seattle!

Your application for admission as a Freshman student to the University of Washington Seattle for autumn quarter 2007 was entered in our data base on December 4, 2006.

The status of your application to the UW Seattle was last updated on February 21, 2007.

Before it said it was last updated December 28th, and at that point it was in full review process... They say they send out letter all the way up to April. If they've made a decision this early then I'm in, right? Right? ;_;

Yeah well it looks good mate ..

Ummm... All that is saying is that they have all of your materials. The "status" means that, yes, they probably LOOKED at your application on February 21st, could have made a decision, but that doesn't necessarily indicate it was a positive one. There's no way of determining that without a letter.

Hopefully you are in but I wonder all these "likely" letters. Many seem to be just update of your information. Most of the school's my daughter applied have sent similar letters. Even the IVIES have sent them. The communication between the schools' admission offices and her have been unbeleivable. Not certain it means she's IN....just the school is great letting you know data received and the process
