Does this score sound right to you?

I took the May 5th SAT and totally bombed them (1660). I don't mean to sound like some kind of person who wants to blame the Collegeboard on my bad score (I probably do sound like it, though), but I just want to make sure that they didn't make some kind of error and that this is really my score.

I was looking at this website, which shows the curve from previous years:
<a href="http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf</a></p>

And I was surprised to find out that my scores seemed to be WAY lower than even the lowest score in my range.

For example:
CR: I had 43/67 on this section, and I received a 540.
Average curve: 580 (lowest 570).

Math: I had 34/54 on this section (19 wrong, 1 omitted), and I received a 530.
Average curve: 570 (lowest 560).

Writing: I had 37/49 on this section (Essay: 9), and I received a 590.
Average curve: 600 (lowest 590).
^ This one at least falls into the range of previous tests.

Was the curve for this SAT really that harsh?

Just tell me if I'm crazy. I can take it. :D
Or do I have a reason to be curious if a mistake was made?

Thanks!

You can ask for a score verification either way. I wouldn’t know how to make such an assumption however.

You have to subtract .25 points for each question you missed. For example, your Math raw would be a 29, not a 34.

Thanks! That makes sense. I guess I’ll just have to study better for the next one.
