1) Mudge Quad (Probably won't get it. Darn ED applicants...)
2) Morewood E Tower Standard Double
3) Donnor Standard Double

Does Donnor still/really smell? I feel like people just like to complain when they say it smells, but it looks nice in the virtual tour.

For my meal plan, I plan on getting Red 11meals per week with 675 dinex or 12 meals per weak with 545 dinex. Not sure if picking one over the other makes a difference.

And though I keep telling my Dad there is plenty of time to figure out classes, he keeps asking me what the planner is for. I'm guessing we put together our own schedule (how do we know what courses we should be taking?) and forward it to our adviser for their comments? I understand it's just planning and real registration isn't for awhile.

If you want to get another look at Donner (Dungeon) you can rent the movie Smart People. Granted it’s a movie but you can get a good look at the hallway and one of the rooms.

Also as I remember it was very hot in Donner when my S moved in and also when we picked him up in December for break.

Donner only smells if you live across from the bathroom or above the dumpster. I had both and still the worst smell was my roommate (who showers before they work out instead of after!?).

All of the dorms tend to get hot in the winter since the campus uses steam heat and that can keep you really toasty during the cold Pittsburgh nights.

Um, on the housing application, it has me rank {at least} 5 residence halls I would like to be in, and then rank what kind of room I want seperately below. (rank quad, single, double, apartment, tripe 1-5)

This has me confused. I want to pick Mudge, but does that mean if quads are full (probably will be) that they’ll try to assign me a double? Because I really rather not have a prime double. I’m trying to stay below or equal to the price of standard double this year.

I was hoping if there were no quads in mudge, they’d try and get me a standard double in morewood or donner, but apparently that’s not necessarily the case.

Unfortunately, housing is not usually that specific in terms of preference. You can send an email to housing after you submit your preferences sheet, but it may not be considered - it depends on how much availability there is and how crunched they are to get every freshman a rooming assignment.
